His #'s won't be as prolific as they were in NE, but he'll be valuable asset to Peyton in the passing game nonetheless.

Won't matter if Manning throws a game winning interception or Welker drops the potential game winner in the first round.

Yeah Welker dropped the pass in his hands but Brady should have hit him on the numbers with the throw. Both of 'em messed up.

That pass by Brady wasn't a bad pass. Welker shouldn't have turned his body that way to catch it. He could have turned his head to the outside corner and caught it in stride with his pinkies together... He actually made it a more difficult catch by jumping and turning inside and trying to catch it in front of his face. In football, they always teach Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers to turn to the outside when looking for the ball.... Wes did the exact opposite... Even with the horrible body control of Wes, the ball hit him directly in the diamond... he should have caught it...

Obviously theres 3 but 2 of them are well behind Welker and the third, which is the safety, is a few yards away to Welker's right. Welker was effectively wide open. There was no reason to throw it to his back shoudler and I'm sure Brady didn't intend to throw it that way. It was just a poor throw and if Welker had made the catch it would've been an amazing catch.

If you wanna blame Welker for anything, blame him for that drop in the AFC Championship game this year. Now THAT'S a catch he should've made.
Most routes on the outside whether it be fades, or post corners, require the QB to toss the ball to the outside shoulder of the wide out... Welker should have turned to the outside like they teach Wide outs and Defensive backs to do at every level... would have been an over the shoulder catch... Welker made it harder by turning inside...

Welker has got to be one of the most blessed receivers ever. To play all those years with Brady and now Manning is a wide receiver's dream. He puts up the numbers he has for another 3 or 4 years and he might even be a hall of famer.

Decker is overrated. Thomas not even top 10 welker not top 10.

I'd take these receiving corps over Denver's

Atlantans, New Orleans, Dallas, Giants, and Packers over them.

D. Thomas not top 10 ? :dahell:

Dude finished the season at #4 with 1434 yds 10 TDs last year but he's not top 10 ?

Decker isn't overrated. 1000 yds reception 13 TDs. He is what is, a very very good #2

Welker might not be a top 10 receiver, but he might just be the most productive slot receiver the league as ever seen :manny:

New Orleans ? Thomas > Colston, Decker > Any #2 on the Saints, I'll give you Graham > Welker

Dallas ? You might want to argue Bryant > Thomas, i have no problem with that. Now the young gawd Eric Decker is better than Miles Austin at this point. Welker = Witten

Giants have two good WR. That's it

Packers have no WR the likes of D. Thomas. They do have a great pieces but overall I'd say Denver's edges theirs
