Anyone who doesn't think Marino is a top ten qb knows nothing about football same with Peyton

Joe Montana
Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
John Elway
Bret Farve
Steve Young
Terry Bradshaw
Johnny Unitas
Rodger Staubach
Troy Aikman

You could argue, but you truly can't get mad if someone dropped that list on you and left him out...that ain't even a list for me it's just names I pulled of the top of my head

You would like to think so. As time goes on people forget about stats and look solely at championships. Stan all you want or think I'm crazy but you have people who say that Marino is not top ten...and in ten years he won't even be top 20 and that's because he doesn't have a ring, if he had just one he'd be at the top of everyone's list.

You may not like it but it's the truth bruh...if Manning loses Sunday they will shyt on him the same way in ten years.

I'm surprised a lot of people are saying that "this game doesn't matter" The one hit on Manning is that he is trash in the playoffs and Superbowl, he wins this and all that shyt is forgotten, if he doesn't he will always be known as the greatest regular season QB ever and Tom Brady will be remembered as "one of the GOATS"...back when I started watching football Marino was ALWAYS in the top five, within five more years he won't even be in the discussion for top fifteen... 20 years from now Manning will be in the same boat if he loses this game.
the irony of this is he isn't even the greatest regular season QB anymore either (if he ever was).

He's only got an edge in cumulative ANY/A due to longevity, but give Brady another 3 healthy seasons and he'll surpass that mark too.

Bruhs it's gonna be crazy when you have to start inserting Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Brees, and even Rivers into this discussion. Y'all think it's crazy but people will be debating that Rivers and Marino were on the same level because of the stats and shyt...amd you cant really shyt on em (even with the rule changes) because its just like when the old heads would tell us "Jordan aint shyt, Dr. J would bust hiss ass" just watch in ten years and see

>hates on stats being used to compare careers of two players

>proceeds to turn around and use stats (more basic ones, for one season only) to back up his faulty argument :russ:

Dear God, if you give us back Trayvon Martin we'll send you this Juggalo in his place :francis:

first off the topic was best regular season QBs

nobody ever had 55 TD or more yards in a season til peyton came along. and Peyton also has the 3rd more TD's in a season. the irony is that Marino's 48 is more impressive than any 2000's passing season but we'll put that to the side since it's not the discussion.

second off don't disrespect Trayvon by comparing him to an argument over football on the internet. shame on you.

Yes, best regular season QBs, which is what the chart I posted is quantifying....

But you opt to describe one season as worthy of trumping an entire career just so it fits your argument on some "these are the more relevant stats even though they describe a significantly smaller sample size!" shyt

Shame on me? More like shame on you for taking up space on this planet with your insufferable stupidity and willful ignorance while young men lose their lives on the daily because they don't have your edomite privilege.

Ya, they totally rig games for Peyton. That explains everything. :martin:

Exactly. People simultaneous argue that Manning is the biggest playoff choker all time AND that the NFL rigs games for him. You'd easily make a better case arguing games are rigged against him (not true either)

That's just fear in their hearts, aren't even thinking rationally.

Brady isn't guaranteed another healthy or productive 3 years. Manning didn't get that.
Brady is 38 years old and has to bank on playing well for 3 more seasons to pass it. Great.:francis:
This same metric you posted also says Manning is the greatest QB all time.
:blessed:
You seriously posted a stat that says Manning is GOAT, then tried to use it to argue that he isn't. What the fukk. :mindblown:
Not to mention that looking up and down his rankings, they are debatable. His metric isn't perfect.
