They need a real point guard. They don't have anyone who can facilitate. Which leads to them looking absolutely confused on offense most times.

George Hill's ineffectiveness at the 1 has really been highlighted in the playoffs this year. It's not really his fault. He's a 2 playing the 1.

Pacers front office screwed up by not addressing it before the trade deadline.

You do not need a (real)PG that can facilitate to win a championship. You need a PG that can spread the floor and defend though. And Paul George and Lance Stevenson aren't as good as Wade and Lebron. :yeshrug:
Not to mention you got other problem like being terrible at rebounding even though you have David West, PGeorge and Hibbert(:scusthov:) on the floor.

I thought this man was talking about Paul George :lallana:
thought so too b/c if he's talking about point guard position then his point is :trash:

The majority of NBA Championship squads have had a serviceable facilitator at the 1.

The 1 doesn't have to be on Magic's level. But, certainly someone who can set the tone.

The Heat and Bulls are the main deviations from the norm in terms of serviceable 1s. That's because they were so strong on the perimeter. Pacers are nowhere near as strong as the Bulls and Heat on the perimeter.
