I was born with a English first name and welsh last name and I was going through my pan-Africa phase so I legally changed both to west African names. I was thinking earlier that I don't want my kids to be running around with some random African name so I'm thinking about changing to a different European name maybe something German like Schuler or Schultz.

So you're changing your name because you "like the sound"? That sounds superficial and nonsensical. At least you chose your African names for a good reason. Why not just change your back to what it was when you were born?

My old name was welsh, but derived from german, so It's not really superficial. I don't like my old surname that's why I'm not changing it back.
