It does not at all.

The way he’s blocking/atacking/interacting with multiple enemies at ounce.

The environmental attack stuff.

It’s clear that trailer animations/choreography were beefed up beyond what the game resulted in.

That first trailer made huge noise based on that combat looking like nothing we’ve seen before.

In the actual gameplay, the combat looks like lots of other action games.
The first trailer was cinematic angles. I'm surprised you're interested in that :lupe:.

And that’s the point. The first trailer was so compelling because the question was, how the hell are they gonna make combat work like that and still be fun/challenging to control.

The answer is, they didn’t. it’s more so just a standard action game. Which is fine. It’s just not what they presented at first :ehh:

I've seen that in some of the trailer. Whether its fun or challenging is up to the beholder. Everything I've seen points to a parry button that you hold to do all the fancy blocking shyt which makes it possible if two people attacking to do what you showed in gif.

The new untouched gameplay they posted does not play out the way shown in the early trailers.

It’s not just a parry. He’s also attacking multiple enemies at once back and forth.

Only way for that to work is if it has Arkham style combat, but it doesn’t seem like it does.

Also, those gifs literally look like their from boss/mini-boss battles or set pieces which give syou more room to chain parries and do flashy stuff

It would be retarded if every enemy encounter was like that lol

But even then, being a boss or not don’t matter.

I assumed the player had control when he was flipping off of that beam and attacking the boss.

I assumed the player had control when he was blocking and attacking those enemies on the horse buggy.

You saying all of that is just movies :lupe:
