Pharrell is that dude- even when his impact in music waned, his influence in other aspects (fashion, art) was still heavy which is why he never really fell off. I refuse to believe he's broke.

I've said before that Wayne, Kanye and Jeezy are the biggest influences to this generation of rappers but Pharrell is right there with them- he low key influenced Wayne and Kanye in 05-07 heavy, thinking they were rockstars, into streetwear/highend fashion, etc....

fukk Skateboard P though. As multi-talented as the P is, he CANNOT rap- probably the worst I've ever heard. As much as I'd like a Pharrell album for beats, songwriting, leave the rap shyt off of there....

Pharrell took a huge hit with "Blurred Lines" but in the end because it went #1 it will mean he will get a shytload of work in this next 12 months & his name is hot again after basically having a horrible couple years of filing bankruptcy to selling his Miami condo to not even making Brittany Spears & JT's last albums because of how far "The Neptunes" brand fell... so he disassociated himself from it...

Also just cause a nikka making millions a year doesnt mean he isnt or cant be broke. If you spending more than you make...then that's how you go broke. Pharrell at his peak was probably worth $100mill to $200 mil...that isnt enough money to be owning a yacht.

Here's Scott Storch talking about how he blew over 30mill in One Year. Who's to say the same can't/didn't happen to Pharrell.
