Pharrell Williams is no longer looking to hang his “Happy” hat in Miami. The uber-producer (as well as singer, songwriter, artist, author and Academy Award nominee) has relisted his glassy condo, but this time with a price increase — from $10.9 million to $10.999 million.
Why the $99,000 price adjustment? Perhaps it’s because award-winning Williams is quite the commodity these days. His new album includes collaborations with Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys and Williams also performed at the Grammys and Oscars. The thinking may be that as his star rises, the condo’s asking price should follow.
According to property records, Williams bought 2127 Brickell Ave, Apt 4000 for $12.525 million in 2007. He then made the glassy place his own, filling the residence with his extensive art and furniture collection. He first listed the home in 2012 for $16.8 million. Williams married his long-time girlfriend earlier this year, and the two have a son together. They could be eager to sell the home, as it’s not the most family-friendly of residences.
Measuring over 9,000 square feet, the home has 5 bedrooms, 7 baths, as well as terraces, its own swimming pool and a second-level “summer kitchen.”
