Besides, it's not that unrealistic - the song really does light people up around the world, as shown by the video.

Pharrell is a respectable guy and deserves all his success. i don't see how anyone who was old enough to experience and see his hard work and come up throughout the years could throw shade. Dude is humble as shyt and a lot of people find his dedication, hard work and success inspiring.

great song...but keep in mind Pharrell is only 41, and he's shown that his sound can continue to evolve with the times.
guys like Pharrell & Nas i truly admire because even at 40 & being in the game for 20 years, they are still at the top of their game. there aren't many artists in ANY genre that we can honestly say that about.
