Pharrell's been trying too hard to please cacs for a while now. He always appealed to them but he's kissing their asses now.

If anything, he was trying too hard to appeal to rap fans/listeners with "In My Mind." That's the only time he's really seemed to be forcing anything to me - G I R L sounds pretty genuine, as does his soundtrack work, and his work for other artists.

I call bullshiit....Richmond is 100s closer of miles to DC area than VA Beach is, they don't claim DMV ..... the "V" in DMV refers to Northern Virginia exclusively ..... you can take it on the technicality of it being in Virginia..but not DMV itself...you probably live in Maryland anyway

It's pretty clear from all of the other things that he's involved with - videos, clothing and sneakers, art projects/exhibits, dude has even teamed up with artists to make furniture and candles - that he has a pretty genuine love for all types of art. He's not selling out because he seems to actually enjoy all of these things he's doing, and he still has his own personality in all of them.

And within the past two years, he's done songs with Kendrick, Jay, Game, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, NORE, 2 Chainz...where did he say to hip hop?
