Word am I trippin or did I read something differently in the article that didn't come off as c00nish at allthe use of c00n in almost every post in here made my head hurt too

There's a time and place for everything. Pharrell doesnt have the skill of discerning when the time and place is appropriate.
He seems like he just wants to say something different just to stand out. It makes him look stupid, tactless and like a c00n.
Mike Brown did nothing to warrant being shot dead in the street unarmed. He is dead, he was murdered. He is not the person who needs to be criticized.
He shouldn't even be used as an example if you want to talk about "black men acting bully-ish". Let him rest in peace. Pharrell a man who works with men and music which perpetuates machismo shouldnt be talking about addressing bully-ish actions of the dead without expecting criticism.
If you want to talk about bully-ish actions talk about the police. If you are trying to focus of the black community, using the Mike Brown situation isn't the appropriate context for such a discussion.
In this case, Pharrell is displaying c00nish/ignorant behavior. ("What about black-on-black crime?"
) He's taking away attention from the real/ most important issue to focus on what the victims are doing wrong.(EDIT: sry, for the weird formatting. When my paragraphs look like sentences, it means I'm typing from my phone.)

If he had robbed the store, the police would have been called
the same thing that made Wynona Ryder rob the store she robbed, but she still gets to make movies (and is not dead).

Robbing a store should not lead to death...we have all done stupid shyt before but we must addressed the issue or risk repeating it.the same thing that made Wynona Ryder rob the store she robbed, but she still gets to make movies (and is not dead).

Also, the media has been running misdirection ever since the initial report for the sake of social experimentation(jmo)
The issue was how many boxes he paid for. The clerk said he only paid for 2, Mike was claiming he paid for 4 and mushed dude...If any one can pull up the video with subtitles that would be great. You would think a case of this significance would warrant all of the top forensic specialists available....
Not condoning what he did, but he's a big kid that threw his weight around..so what...I can think of countless examples of other kids who do the same where no one bats an eye..............

Another reason why context is so important. That video was used out of context as propaganda.
The government, media and people use context and propaganda because it is important and powerful. Everyone needs to be aware of how they use it and how it is used.
