ehhhh..... maybe because im in europe but G star is seen as very very regular wera like Levis.... I dont know how the pricing is in the states buts its cheaper than APC and all that

G-Star isn't well known here in the US. Price wise it's comparable to APC and True Religions () and TRBJ are very popular in the midwest and south.

It will be interesting to see how Pharrell markets the brand here in the US or if they will stick to the course of flying under the radar and continue to make quality clothing.

Yeah I don't think any adult looks at clothes like that anyway, or atleast they shouldnt. I think its more about the quality. Thats why for example Levi's, has alot of diff washes, not too many styles/textures and the denim is kind of cheap just like Buffalo or Calvin Klein compared to say a Diesel (quality), GStar (textures) or Citizens of Humanity (they fabric tho).
The only reason to spend that much on jeans is knowing that you are getting quality products and hopefully not a name tag. A good pair of Diesels should last twice as long as some Levi's Ive had and feel better. I cant speak for all those expensive brands though. Some of them are the same quality as Levi's.
