Which is dumb as hell because the producers were on set when the movie was being made, so if they didn't like the shots they should've just fixed it while they were in Virginia instead of waiting until post production and millions of dollars were wasted

And from the clips that I've seen personally (a grip of my friends worked on it) that movie was destined to flop from the beginning :scust: I'd upload but my nikkas might get in trouble

Who the fukk wants to sit in a theater in 2025 and watch some goofy ass musical/play pretending to be a regular movie....about Pharrell of all people :why: EVERYONE was wondering why the hell was a Lego movie being made at the same time as this one.

Feel bad for the cast, for some of them it was gonna be their breakout roles
Yeah, that's what sucks about these, the actors that need screen credits miss out on the opportunity. Getting paid is nice, but you also want to get a lead on future work.

Offtopic, but i think the only actor in Hollywood that can pull this off is the rock . He lived an interesting enough life to have kids want to see his lego movie and an adult-centered biopic .

Breh they did the same thing with Coyote vs Acme like a year and some change ago, I also knew people on that one

That was gonna be the 2020's version of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and they scrapped it after it was done :why:

Didn't he just do a Lego movie about himself? Not sure the world needs a series of Pharrell movies.

The lego movie was about him

This live action movie was supposed to be about the neighborhood he grew up in and how that neighborhood influenced the music he would make.

Basically think of it as an origin story for not just Pharrell, but Timbaland, Magoo, The Clipse, and Missy Elliot.

I was looking forward to it. Sucks they couldn’t crack the story the way they wanted.

One of those projects that sounds good on paper but doesn't have enough in reality to grab an audience

That movie was about to be some goofy ass shyt breh

Unless you REALLY like musicals where the entire street is dancing :hubie: the shots I saw were overwhelmingly corny, y'all mighta got some decent GIF content for remixes but 2025 woulda roasted the hell out of him if that movie got a major push and released

I’m not saying no to black musicals. White people get Grease, Mary Poppins, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, La La Land, Westside Story and gazillion others and all we get is The Wiz and Dreamgirls.
