I used to play top chess players and they were super brilliant but therr was no money in chess.

At least in poker you can get rewarded for your mind. And poker you play against other people and not the casino. Thats the reason everyone migrated there after black jack flaws were figured out.
I'm a fan of poker. More intelligent blacks should learn it as s way to make a living
We used to have a coli poker tournament on Poker Stars. We got some decent players around here.

I have actually thought about it a few times that i wish the coli had games rooms like Yahoo used to have.
Itd be nice to play poker or chess with the brehs and brehettes here while killing time if i don't feel like posting

This. Also some top poker players who are great at math got into daily fantasy sports and are winning big. Some even stopped playing live poker because they can legally win big money online with dfs.

Most poker players aren't making bank like that. Once you factor in actual tournament buy-ins, expenses, taxes and what not. I would say only the top 100 actually making HUGE dollar amounts. It's a grind and you have to be able to weather the losing streaks which are going to occur regardless of how good you are, especially at the lower limits. Not to mention the damn near rape like rakes the casinos are raising constantly. Catch 22, lower limits have worse players, but after variance and the rake you are making at the most about $15/hr, for an excellent player. On the flip side the potential for gain is a lot bigger if you can play 5/10 No-Limit or higher, but the start up cost is expensive, and the players regardless of where you go will be for the most part GREAT REGULARS. Unless you're an amazing player, most dudes fizzle out around this zone, because they are breaking even at best and can't finance their buy-ins long enough to catch up skill wise to the learning-curve.

Daily Fantasy Sports is where it's at, if you can run an algorithm and survive the beats.

Algorithms for fantasy sports?:ohhh:

Anyone whose making any real money playing DFS is using a system, algorithm, formula whatever you want to call it, to spit out 1000's of different line ups for different contest, based on the highest expected value of those line ups decided by probably hundreds of different variables weighted accordingly.

I remember my roommate freshman year dropped out of school to play poker. Thought he was crazy but he was doing alright when I saw him a few years ago.

This is old. The ruling is retarded because Phil Ivey informed the casino prior to his arrival he would have someone with him.

Casinos want big players to come to garner attention and potentially big bucks. But Ivey agreed to come to this one under specific stipulations one of which was to have the lady be there with him and have a certain dealer while he's playing bacarat. The casino agreed! That's what makes it such a joke they wouldn't have said anything if he loss. But the second they lose to the rules they agreed to now let's pay off a judge and take it to the court. The edge Ivey got from his stipulations I read were maybe at most a 5% difference, which was enough to turn the advantage to the player for once.

They negotiated prior to his arrival and get mad when things don't go there way.

The casino is not naive. They are aware of the fact when you bring in a top tier player like Phil Ivey, not only is he really good, but he will exploit any angle if it is there. His request where very specific. If this nygga said he wanted a pepsi, I would have been wondering what his angle is. :russ:If someone like myself, who doesn't even play poker would wonder what he is up to, no doubt the casino would. Cheng Yin Sun being there is also a red flag, as she had already been banned from numerous casinos prior to this taking place. They thought they would beat him regardless.

Exactly. Nikkas lose at the game they agreed to, then want to cry foul.

Unfortunately for Ivey, these nikkas can/will pay the court system under the table if necessary.

Ive never even thought about gambling in DFS. I just thought it was the epitome of randomness.

Thats crazy that they have systems out there for it. Gonna have to look into that

A lot of people who are winning 1st-10th place, are the exact same person with multiple entries. Yeah a lot of people get sucked in by the commercials. But you have a higher probability of winning something at a regular casino than at DFS unless you're using some sort of mathematical calculations to pick your rosters.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Cacs are the biggest sore losers on this planet :russ:. L's just be burning they soul :lolbron:

My philipino homeboy (about late 20's) had a team full of his homies (all asian nugs)...

They played in an intramural community baseball league.

This past summer, they won the championship against an all cac team (obviously same age range 20's - early 30's).

He said after they kicked the crakkka's in they own game... the white dudes were really upset and condescending about the loss. Homie told me the white guys spewed epithets and heckled them as well.

Sore ass losers.

this is why you don't play with white folks. The entitlement is real... and they definitely look down on minorities.
