Sohh we gon act like mj won a championship with Doug Collins ?

Sohh we gon act like Kobe and shaq won a championship with dell Harris?

And don't matter who you are as a coach you'll need some elite talent to win a Championship.
So we gonna act?

Answer questions with questions bro.

No one is saying Phil is a bad coach like the ones you compared him too.

Well, did they?

And Doug Collins was not a bad coach. Four different groups of teams were able to adjust to his model of play(Phil Jax) and were very successful at it.

Lakers won a ship as soon as phil got there.

Plus shaq was knee deep in his prime. Y'all moving goal posts at this point.
Whose moving goal posts besides you who brought up Doug Collins and Del Harris?

Na you saying he can't win without top talent I said those players couldn't win without Phil Jackson then when I have examples of other coaches that they played under the other poster proceeded to move goal post by saying they weren't in their primes.

Shaq had already been to an NBA final
Mj was already a MVP and an all star
Kobe was already an all star at that point.

:dahell: Go back and re read what I posted. I didn't say you moved goal posts the other breh did.
And you're still going.

My point from jump about him forcing his system to criticize players, comparing him to winning coaches. But here you are turning to

your words said:
Na you saying he can't win without top talent

:dahell:

That was never my point. He needs to accept that it took generational talents to run his system. You then started moving the goalposts to Jupiter.

Ive been saying this about Phil for awhile. I hate coaches that stick to a philospy no matter what even if the team they have is not built for it. It totally handicaps you to a degree. Nothing more infuriating then hearing about how a draft pick fits the system instead of just taking the most talented guy on the board.

the Knicks problem since the 70s

has been not knowing how to recruit or develop players... It's the organization with the least amount of patience

Always getting players either to old, past their primes, overrated or just plain garbage

Phil Jackson is a relic from a bygone era...the era he coached in had real nba players playing in a real prime time league...

Now it's mainly one and dones...diaper dandies...zone-Iso crossover-dribble-shoot-a-three-behind-three-picks-and-if-you-touch-me-it's-a-foul-era

I understand Phils frustration :manny:
