Thats my point. These owners/gm fall to the pressure of a fan base who feels the are historically great.
They need to just rebuild from scratch...no more quick fixes. Should of let melo go and start over

The franchise sucks, outside of picking Patrick Ewing in the draft and the miracle 1999 finals run the Knicks have been shyt. They don't know how to construct teams.
Jamal Crawford and Z-BO all did better when they left. Chandler is playing like his old self in Dallas again. I can go old school too, even Anthony Mason did better when he was not here and went to make an all star team. The locker room, the management is all incompetent.
Outside of Ewing, I think the only positive move they made was signing Latrell Sprewell after he tried to kill PJ Carlisimo and getting Marcus Camby for a few years.
They still have JR Smith on the team, that's all you need to know. I'm a life long Knicks fan and I'm even saying fukk the Knicks right now.

we've been saying teams need to stockpile 1st rounders and take advantage of 4 year rookie slave deals

we been saying don't overpay to win 45 games
these gm's are just now catching up to us
Also to be clear, I don't think the amare signing was a bad move. It was a necessary evil to bring in another star and it worked. Problem is that melo and amare just don't work well together.
A good franchise cuts their losses and doesn't resign melo.
