I don't think they fukked their future with the melo trade. He was a top 10 player at the time and Denver didn't do anything with those players. Plus they weren't getting past the heat.

They had a good roster that was starting to gel and they gave up on their depth to add a selfish chucker. D'antoni could have had a nice squad with the right pieces, melo was not that piece
