Phil Jackson complained about LeBron James and his 'posse' in 2004

“Yet as talented as (LeBron James) definitely appears to be, I don’t believe any nineteen-year-old should be playing in the NBA. These young men grow so dependent on their posse’s, who fetch their cars and their girls, that they can’t possibly develop into mature, self-sufficient human beings. One day, I’m convinced, we’ll find out the true extent of the psychological damage that’s been caused.”

Remember when Lebron went on his full on campaign for Hilary Clinton? :mjlol:

Became the biggest athlete to campaign that hard for a presidential candidate ever. . The same woman with her husband who had no problem putting black men in jail for 20+ years, and denying them financial aid for previous drug use. I guess he overlooked that

That Phil Jackson comment was a kick in the ass that Lebron needs. Still thinks allying with these cacs and caping for them would do anything. Lebron built is multli-million dollar business with his friends he grew up with. The same friends who brokered alot of deals that would one day make him a billionaire, and improving the communities to help young black children. But that don't mean shyt to them

There's a lesson, no matter how much money you make, or how much caping you do for them, you'll always be a n*gger to these CACs

Keep thinking your money matters. To them, you'll just be a n*gger with a billion dollars :umad:

You're making an odd correlation.

I would argue that the many black young children and up and coming athletes that have been helped by Lebron care more about him putting his money where his mouth is and less about what Phil Jackson thinks of them.

There is such thing as "fukk You" money, and Lebron has that.

This is a very odd correlation lol.

Also what's wrong with what he said? Maybe in lebrons case everything worked out, but how many other cases of the extreme opposite do we see? Many more :francis:.

I think i misinterpeted your last part as something that Lebron should give a fukk about. If he does, he lawst, but I really don't he cares what cacs think about him.

I get what you're saying now, you just said it aggressively like he's looking for cac approval

Yeah I think people in this thread think I'm saying that the Black people, or black children would think less of him. This is strictly for the cacs he was :cape: for. No matter how much money you make, no matter how much you help your people, you would never be looked at as different to these CACs

be logical
u act as if he was campaigning for Hillary all year round. the simple fact it was some last minute bullshyt, tells me she tapped ppl like Bron Bey and Jay-Z and promised them perks when she got into office.

it was a scratch my back, i'll scratch yours situation...

the average blk person don't really understand situations like this, cause they're never in a situation like this. so they go on a long emotional rant.
