NO. people will be more understand of ALL WAYS ONLINE. you know why. because most of these games are ALWAYS ONLINE. and more people are use to Downloading their games. I bet a ton of people crying about it in the beginning are now downloading more games than ever. its like me transitioning from CD's to Digital files or tapes(old) to cd's. or people going from VHS to DVD to Blu Ray's

it takes awhile for people to understand and embrace some tech. put it this way, if we could stop right now and hit the start button on next gen and xbox could put out that drm always on stuff everyone cried about. they would either be tied with sony(even with a cheaper product) or ahead of them. Now as far as the kinect goes. they would still put that with the system. its more for testing purposes than for actual application. sure they WISH and HOPE devs do something with it but if they dont. MS (the entire company not just gaming side) gets valuable info from how the kinect is used or could be used. They basically used their gaming budget to push R&D for the kinect more or less. this is why if you go on the net you see people doing all sorts of things with the old one and this new one that has nothing to do with games at all.

I agree with you

I think M$ was way ahead of there time and with what they wanted to push, and it scared people. They could probably announce the same thing now and the reaction wouldn't be half as bad. Times are changing, I just wonder what console is going to be the 1st to go ahead with that leap and commit.

they just announced a bunch of shyt that shouldve been kept in fine print. youll find that all that stuff that turned ppl off will be implemented in different places anyway. look at all these recent psn and xbl bans

You right also, they highlight me of the "restrictions" rather than benefits.

They'll prolly win next gen :lupe:
I could definitely see that. I think $400 is the sweet spot for the price of a console during the launch window. That $600 and $500 BS Sony pulled with the PS3 was absurd and rightfully so, they paid dearly for it.
I think we'll see MS continue to add little features here and there to the XB1 which will pretty much teach users how to use the next XBOX. The way I see it, XB1 is the beta test for the XB2. Sony on the other hand, is taking the Apple route with gaming. They refocused and took things back to the basics with a strong console focused primarily on video games. In the feature department they are falling behind though, and their complacency could easily cause them to get swept in the next console cycle.

ps4 sales will increase for sure. especially if it's going to be hacked. word is, it may come out this year. enough progress has been made but devs won't release it to the public due to testing?

yea it was bull shyt but it was actually worth it. if the economy hadn't gone to shyt at the same time sony might have fared better.

Nothing else on the market at the time had a bluray player, hdmi output, SD card reader, wifi, Bluetooth and 6 usb 2.0 ports besides high end PCs.

you could even run Linux on it. It was the XB1 b4 the XB1 :wow:

:ehh: This is true. Those hardware features were stripped away when it should have easily remained the standard for future generations.
