I don't agree, I feel most gamers don't really know anything. Phil didn't cancel any games, or order any games to be made. All that would have came with or without Phil Spencer. And all the other ideas they had were great ideas imo, but gamers were too scared to be offline.

Has anyone here tried using their XB1 offline? Anyone? I encourage you to try it today to see if that thing works offline like it should :usure: So all that really happened was we got cheated out of all the cool features they wanted to implement. And they can't count on the "cloud" for computing power in the same way they originally intended. So we are stuck in the present so to speak :snoop:

Now the Xbox is LESS FUNCTIONAL than it was before phil arrived, and only the casuals who never wanted to give Kinect a chance are saying "Yeah, less features". Meanwhile, this new dashboard is boring as fukk. Leaderboards used to be front and center. I don't scroll thru the bullshyt setup they have now. Not often at least. Cortana isn't as intelligent as she is on PC/Mobile. I be like bytch.. I WANNA GO TO YOUTUBE, NOT THE YOUTUBE WEBSITE (which is actually impressive but I'm venting right now so fukk that)

People are giving too much credit to Phil when all that has happened is a price drop :francis:
He shifted the focus to be primarily about games and not watching tv. That alone was huge, but keep fighting that lost battle. Even your loyal squad mates left the jungle while you remind me of those old Japanese soldiers still stuck in the woods fighting nobody after the war was lost.

:mjlol: Wish I could rep this.

On topic though I like this Spencer guy. Mattick seemingly couldn't be told no. Too many radical changes at once and totally jacked up the launch. Remember his always online response? Dude fumbled hard. HDMI Input is the only positive I can wrangle out.

Scorpio is the final hurdle for Spencer. :lupe: He's lucky enough to be with a black-eyed Microsoft. Endless spending money.

He switched the focus u say :usure:

All that has happened is they cancelled the TV angle Xbox as a brand was going to try to tackle. Has nothing to do with gaming as a whole, wouldn't have interfered with the gaming side so :stopitslime:
As for the games that he made the "focus". What games did he make happen that wasn't already in the pipelines bruh
Some of the games that was announced before he took over still hasn't dropped (Cuphead/Below/Crackdown 3/Scalebound)

A sony stan will tell you there still ain't a worthy game on xbox, so what has Phil really REALLY done beside ride a wave bruh  All I'm saying is stop putting some much stock into figureheads. The truth is the consumers panicked and believed the rhetoric tossed around on internet forums, so paying more for a weaker system that spied on you is how the xbox one was received. All the amazing features of Xbox One that isn't gaming related.. the reason why it shyts all over PS4 even in its slightly less powerful state, shyts all over the PS4 because of what it can do outside of gaming.. and you dumb a$$holes missed the point. I don't know if their TV idea would have been successful, but the first thing they had was that Atari documentary which was a terrible idea from a "Would gamers wanna watch this" standpoint. But was actually REALLY good. I believe they will revisit all that because there is too much untapped potential in that field :manny: And they didn't need to hire all those expensive people to achieve the future that I see...
