I'd rather have a copy of Gamepass coming from Sony that a newer type rumble method for the controller.

PSNow. It’s not equivalent but it’s similar. $59 per year and the library is three times bigger than Gamepass.

Sony first party isn’t there day and date but they do end up there. Conversely, Xbox first party hasn’t reached Sony’s heights yet so compromises, I guess.

Take your pick getting to pay $70 per game or having a subscription service you're free to come and go from for the price of less than 2 games a year if you kept it the whole year.
Psnow has a bigger library than gamepass and is alot cheaper.

First party games dont show up immediately at launch but I'm fine with that if it allows Sony to fund big budget quality titles.

We already see the quality of most xbox exclusives and it's not a secret that Microsoft hasn't found a way keep gamepass profitable while funding big budget titles.

It's the reason Microsoft is open to selling recently purchased studio titles on the competition's hardware, they know it wouldn't be profitable to release shyt like elder scrolls for free with gamepass.

You can tell when Phil Spencer talks about it that they haven't figured out a model for the service yet and are just throwing money at it for Marketing.

Xbox head Phil Spencer details how Xbox Game Pass deals with developers are structured

The service isn't really profitable right now and Microsoft has admitted that.

Xbox Game Pass Is Not A Big Money-Maker Right Now, But Microsoft Is Thinking Long Term

I have no problem waiting a few months for a game to hit gamepass or psnow if it gives the game a few months to recoup development cost and allows higher quality games overall.

My launch PS4 DS4 which I still own even though I don't have the launch PS4 drifts. Gamestop plugged it up to a machine and tested it for drift and it failed the check. I don't notice but it's not the primary PS4 controller I use.

Real recognize real. They probably going to create their own version of it. Thats how this business operates. Nintendo puts a stick on their controller and Sony says "we'll put in two" Microsoft puts a hard drive in the console? Sony says "us too". Sony puts in true directional feedback? Microsoft and Nintendo say " why not? :ehh:"

Motion control too.

I dont know why the fukk developers aren't using gyro aim functions especially with the playstation controllers. You got motion control tech jacking up the controller price and nobody is using it :gucci:

I gotta be honest I never liked that feature. It doesn't feel accurate enoughh for me to use it often. I remember turning it off for gravity rush 2.

I find the feature great for games like breath of the wild. Jumping off a horse and shooting the bow using gyro aiming was much better than using the joystick. You can line up shots while having full access to all the face buttons because u didn't have to switch between the right stick and face buttons.

Games like horizon zero dawn and ghost of Tsushima would benefit from gyro aiming.

I dont see why it cant be an option.

It really does make a difference when it's done well. I think the devs are in such a rush to put out the product that it never happens.

Ratchet and clank with gyro aiming:wow:

I'm playing ghost of Tsushima right now and I wish it had gyro aiming for those situations where I'm trying to line up a quick headshot on an archer while fighting a group of enemies.
