I'm a diehard c00nb....I mean Cowboys fan.
It pains me to say this, but I have a lot of respect for the Iggles. It's one thing for an NBA team to skip out since basketball is seen as a "black" sport where virtually every superstar is black. The NFL is a different beast, and to pull this off requires balls. Whites won't really care that much if the Warriors skip but they will be talking all kinds of shyt about this.
However......demographics matter. Let's say the Cowboys claim #6 next year. If Jerry Jones says "nah, I ain't going to La Casa Blanca", AT LEAST half his fan base (probably more) would burn their jersey's call him everything under the sun. Jerry lives in Highland Park which is only a few miles from my crib. Ain't no way they're letting him back in Dallas Country Club if he pulled it off. Up north and on the coasts, it's either a neutral move or you'd get props from everyone. Jerruh only cares about the money. If he knew he'd make more money kneeling, best believe that dude would be on all fours with a dashiki on.
