African population in NYC is mostly Ghanian and Nigerian for the most part.

116th in central Harlem is Little Senegal filled with Africans who are Senegalese and other francophone nations like Cameroon.

Staten Island also has a lot of Liberian refugees but that community down there is sort of ratchet.

NYC is def run by Ghanians as far as African goes. Only thing that sucks is that we barely have Ethiopians, Eritreans and Somalians. NYC probably has more Ethiopian restaurants than people.

why does it suck that NYC doesn't have those groups? what do they bring?

Whether it’s the brehs in N/W Philly, the Poles in Port Richmond or the Irish and Italians down south. Nah, even dark skinned women in DC like southern black women are wayyyyyy better than Philly women.

At Howard most guys were not trying to date girls that were townies/local natives. Especially if they were from Southeast How does this make sense if DC is supposed to be the land of milk and honey? They had no reason to ever touch a regular DC chick because all the women were on campus. That’s why I can say these nikkas lying. Take a walk around Benning Rd, Minnesota Ave and Deanwood look at the local population and tell us what kinda chicks you see

Funny because after the Superbowl win, Philly got a slight uptick in interest and comments about its appeal as a city... on and offline...

Again, Philly is not trash ... it’s definitely all the way gritty and old-ish (and aside from the historic architecture, it’s old not in an aesthetically UN-pleasing way)... but it’s a decent visit. Not a bucket list visit by any means or a destination city to live in.

Philly has been losing residents actually ... with barely measurable gains, if any.

Philly is the Florida of the whole Notheast region. No culture, no progressiveness, no style, narrow streets w/cobblestone (wtf). land of the overrated cheesesteaks, accents and dialect weird af, no real momentum In hip hop besides latching on to rappers or whatever movement is going on in other cities -(beanie, freeway - rocafella, Meek - mmg (Miami). One street and one park stretching miles where everyone gravitates to as far as recreation.

Im from ny , relocated to the dc metro area so I know dc, Baltimore, etc . I f with Baltimore all day bf I ever step foot in philly again. Most dejected place I’ve seen in life. Never in the history of never have I heard anyone say - Let’s go to philly to hangout. DC - yes. NY- yes, BMore- yes. More like I’m passing thru philly to get to nj or ny might as well be a rest stop.
