Like Im staying near st joesph right now as I type. And just driving thru into the city I see piles of trash stacked up on every block, roads that havent been worked in decades, and litter everywhere.

It looks like folk just complacent with dustyness and trash everywhere. No sense of cleaning up anything because that how its “always been”

To be fair, we just had a storm a few days ago. Not saying some of your criticisms aren't valid but there's a big difference between Philly in the Spring/Summertime vs Philly in the Winter. I wouldn't judge Chicago based on its winter either.

Now if you were in Philly during the Roots picnic and still thought it was a shythole then I don't know what to tell you. Penn's Landing (where the Roots picnic is) is beautiful though, especially during the summer or during the holidays. Yes, the hood parts of Philly are rough (like most cities) but between Center City, Fairmount (especially the art museum area) Old City, and even some parts of West Philly there are a lot of dope spots depending on what you're into. And I'd say it's the best east coast city for young professionals straight out of college given the relatively low rent and decent nightlife. Clubs are trash for the most part, bars and lounges are decent, restaurants are great. I'm saying all of this as a dude who grew up in NY, went to school in Philly and moved here after college

I actually don't mind Philly. It's a little rough but some areas are pretty piff. Nice architecture. And yes, I have yet to see a dime in that city. I even seen dimes in Buffalo, but Philly? Do they even exist?

Like DC is the model of cleanliness. Every time I’m on the Baltimore-Washington parkway near the aquatic gardens I’m like from the smell. And y’all roads are terrible and poorly designed. Anywhere else in America if you make a wrong left you can just go back around he block and get back where you need to be. But noooooo not in DC. Make a wrong left and next thing you know you went from SE to NW
