The comments about there not being night life is just dumb, just say you didn't know where to go and leave it at that. Philly has a huge music scene as the birthplace of Neo Soul and all the universities in the area ensure there is always somewhere popping on the weekends.

And Philly isn't even remotely as dirty or NYC or San Francisco. EVERYTIME I go to NYC it looks like trash day with PILES of trash bags stacked on every corner. Rats literally run from bag to bag right in front of people and ppl are so use to it they walk right by like that shyt normal. San Fran is dirty as shyt too and full of homeless people but you rarely hear ppl mention it because it's a cac town. Instead it's marketed like one of the best cities in the country when large sections of it look like the area around CJ aunt house in GTAV

As far as their city life and quality of life. Its ok. If you are Black there is actually a large slice of Black culture and museums and stuff and they are legit dope. The nightlife is good but held back by PA law.
The women are not good looking outside the metro areas and the good looking women are mostly transplants from NY/NJ.

Philly is charming IMO. Yea it's dirty and has some rough people, but it has dope architecture, good restaurants, a city culture I enjoy - there's a balance between the roughness and scumbaggery with just being real and approachable, philly leaves the pretentiousness to NYC and DC. I wouldnt want to live in philly as a working person - but I loved it when I was there for school. It has a place in my heart
