Yeah surprised me too. He only played 9 seasons though and his career fell off a cliff after that MVP season. Maybe you could've put him on the 2001 Pro Bowl roster - Faulk was a given but Hearst and Green were nice that year too

Gotta consider the era. This is when dudes still played in the pro bowl and nikkas was still being bellcows. You had dudes that no one even discusses anymore giving you 14/15/1600 yds plus and double digit TDs. And since nikkas were run into the ground the fall off was quick and steep.
