that must have been a heavy dose he took and went while flying high..I hope he was enjoying it before and while he went..46 yrs old..dang!

I know its typical when a celeb dies to call them one of the GOATs but Hoffman was legit top 5 living actor. His work spoke for itself.

From his flawless work with Paul Thomas Anderson to indies like Happiness, The Savages, stealing the show in blockbusters like Mission Impossible 3, critically acclaimed shyt like Doubt.

He could do it all.

Damn fukking shame but all you can do is salute one of the modern greats

you pretty much said what I was gonna say regarding his talent.

He was on a shortlist of guys who could morph into a different person everytime he was on the screen.

That's also why a lot of relapsing heroin addicts are primed for an overdose - their tolerance returns to sober levels, but they want to do something similar to the doses they were used to before dropping the habit for a while - it ends up being too much, and they end up dead :/

At least he went out painlessly...felt the most intense rush he'd ever feel in his life, nodded off, never woke again.

Can't RIP people that OD on drugs. I feel bad for his family though. They are the real victims and deserve the most attention. He was selfish.
