I honestly don't know what happened to Asomugha. I remember teams were scared throwing to Nnamdi when he was with the Raiders. On the regular with Oakland, teams would only throw the ball 3 times to a receiver whenever Nnamdi was taking them. He was a lockdown defender. I think it might have to be due to age maybe. He has good length, but he seems slower and looks like he might have lost some of his athleticism since he became an Eagle. He has good length and has always been known for his really good work ethic, but he has looked terrible with the Eagles. Maybe its the Eagles curse?

Remove Rivers and name me the rest of the AFC west QBs over the last 3-4 years and that will give you about 60% of your answer as to why Nhamdi looked like he was beastin

He was a good corner in a shytty division with shytty wide recievers therefore he was overrated from the getgo

the qbs and wrs in the afc west are a legit point, but he was still playing MUCH better with the raiders. he was a legit top 5 guy without a doubt even when taking in account those things. he mightve aged a bit and possibly stopped playing hard after landing the contract...or something

We really, really, REALLY shouldn't have traded Asante. He jumped on everything but, when he caught one

Im not gonna pretend like I knew Nnamdi would be garbage but, I thought we was gonna keep both Samuels & Nnamdi & trade DRC for a linebacker. I thought the objective was to upgrade our secondary (by having two premier guys), instead we just swapped out one nikka for the other. Also, if we had Asante still, I dont think Nnamdi would be getting abused so bad. We could've also traded DRC for a Safety.

its established at this point that he cant cover a premier WR one on one, im just shocked at his awful tackling. hes supposed to be this physical press guy and he plays like Terrell Buckley

Since our season is starting to be a lost cause, we need to put one of our youngsters at CB (Marsh or Boykin), and try Aso at safety. If he can't make that transition, we already know he getting cut in offseason.

Our safeties suck, our pass rush is non-existent. Our defense has no identity.

shyt, remember that season Troy V and Bobby Taylor were both injured and we had the young pups in there starting at corner? We had good safeties back then tho.

Thomas was an immediate impact player, everyone knew it, and they pick a 6 foot tall edge rusher who isnt really good at any one area. genius
