LA Mexicans are more heavily armed than all of Philly homie
Have you been to Philly, or involved in anyway in Philly organized crime to be able to speak on that? I'd put it this way, all of the groups mentioned are HEAVILY armed, and more than willing to put those arms to use. It's useless to speak on something that none of us can prove either way, but it wouldn't be a pretty outcome for anyone involved.
I'll say this though, in 2014 LA (city not the whole county) had 246 murders with a population of 3.8 million, Philly had 248 with a population of 1.5 million (Philly has 251 already this year). Also (according to a couple different lists) the 2 most dangerous cities in America are Camden, NJ and Chester, PA both are 10-15 minutes away from Philly. Nothing to be proud of by any means, but Philly is FAR from soft.
Everything about Philly is understated, you're not gona hear about gangs or dudes being loud about how they get down. If there's real beef between dudes who are really about that life, they aren't gona scream about what set they claim, or pull a drive by, someone's most likely gona catch that person late night on a back block and leave them dead with no warning and no trace of who did it, in a neighborhood so bad the cops don't go there and don't care enough to investigate the crime.
@Hiei I just saw your post so I figured I'd link you to this too. Philly has more murders with less than half the population of LA, and that's with Philly's murder rate being down SIGNIFICANTLY from what it's been in the past 10 years or so.
