When my friends/family in Toronto try and talk this hood stuff out here I always look at them like.
:gucci:

I seen some neighbourhoods on the west side of Chicago that would send shivers down their backs. Growing up I thought my dad's neighborhood was grimey but when we used to go out west to buy back to school clothes that shyt was my wake up call.

I delivered mail on streets like this in Trenton. I didn't have any problems besides the nasty smells where garbage was festering. Parking is an issue though.

Was in PHILLY a few months ago after not being there for like 20 years. Man it’s grimy as fukk. I don’t remember it being this bad. Ran into a cop that was ready to blow me away cuz I didn’t see him motioning me. Had my wife and son in the car. Had to be the bigger person but I’ve never had a cop come at me like that.

Even going to nice places and areas downtown, it was grimy. Touristy areas with straight up weirdos making people uncomfortable.

Still like the city overall but it needs help…from my perspective. In contrast..DC was great. Never felt unsafe there.

US keep all thr hood folk together. You see massive hoods there for that reason. The Canadian approach is to litter the hoods all over thr place so you’ll see a hood area right next to a wealthy area. This is the best way IMO.

Comparing this to some Chinese cities these days is depressing :francis:

Spend all of the 2000s funding wars instead of building for the future AmeriCrehs :yeshrug:
Thats a Bit unfair. Every country has slums. Especially china. Dont take the propaganda seriously.

For example, this is guangzho, the premier technology and industry hub of china

But this is also that same city looking bombed out...

When Philly brehs came to Pittsburgh. My home town. They made brehs lean the fukk back

Taking nothing away from the gangsters in my home town. There was some real tough brehs who was with the shyts. My cousins who was deep with some gangs in Wilkinsburg and Homewood told me that when a small
Philly crew breezed through they went on a fukking warpath. Those brehs were not ready. :sadcam: My cousin who is tough as they come. Breh is doing life right now. Told me they was losing bad. Only way they came out even was that the cops got wind of it and eventually got the Philly brehs

I was about to say! Parts of Philly and Bmore look the same and you want no parts of either of em :hubie:
I'd say philly looks even dirtier than bmore.

As run down as baltimore is, at least it has back alleys to hide all their trash and 🤢.

Cities with alleys tend to look cleaner (i.e. Chicago, l.a., baltimore, d.c. toronto)

Philly is everything in full effect.

Them, detroit, cleveland and some of those small cities in jersey are the worst looking hoods in the u.s.

Crazy how Baltimore, Camden, Philly these East coast cities (I’m talking all of north Jersey Jersey City, Newark, etc) they ALL look the same.

If you didn’t see the license plates and phone numbers on the stores, you couldn’t tell which of these cities you were in…

They all look so desolate and cold. But it’s what we know. I’ve lived in the east coast (Atlantic region) my whole life and this is just how things look. DC, Jersey, NYC all these places I’ve lived and they all look alike
East coast hoods is real urban decay

Those neighborhoods are pretty bad. The difference between Philly and other major cities with slums like NYC, Chicago, etc is the philly slums go for 10s of blocks. Like you can drive for 20 minutes and still be one area where everything looks like that video.
