I wish the whole "RBs are a dime a dozen" narrative died a long time ago. Lawd knows it should have.

Philly wasn't/isn't winning a damn thing with or without McCoy. They're better off stripping everything down and going a different direction.

your logic is kinda bad. to 'prove' the RBs are still valuable, philly needs to do worse on offense, with a RB who isnt as productive as mccoy

saying his replacement is going to be a RB who is not as productive is a 'no shyt' statement. its hard to find a more productive RB than a top 5 productive RB.

chip isnt about running the ball anyway

"RB's are devalued in the NFL" is the new "thing" for people to say, and when they say it, they think they are gods gift to analyzing football...so fukking annoying

Last year it was (after they cut Desean Jackson) "Yeaaaaaa, but Desean draws a safety...and that opens up the rest of the field for everyone else!!!"...i cant tell you how many times people called into Philly sports talk trying to make that point thinking they were on some next level shyt

Let me add to the list, If i fukking hear one more person call in and make the point "Yea...but thats like the definition of insanity...its doing the same thi....." im gonna lose my fukking shyt :damn::damn::damn:

He had 88 yards or higher in half the games breh
:mjlol: you really gonna sit here and act like 22 and 23 carries for 88 fukking yards is any good? 23 carries for 88 yards is not "what you want" from an nfl running back, and its certainly not what you want from a guy you pay 10 million to

Chip will be able to replace Shady's production from a running back by committee at a quarter of the price.

why are you so hung up on yardage totals? he got 88 yards on 23 and 22 carries. thats not even an average performance in those games. thats fukking garbage. thats like a guy scoring 30, but taking 27 shots. its not good at all

@yseJ is usually petty smart when it comes to football. But that might be one of the most uniformed posts I have ever read. Wow, "chip isnt about running the ball anyway".

I just don't understand why people just don't say they have not watched many ducks games.

I meant it in conventional sense. running lmj off tackle with bunch of space and let mariota run wild is one thing, running a conventional power game with a conventional back in the NFL is another. lmj is a bum in the nfl too.

but fair enough, I admit I didnt realize how much oregon ran the ball. Im not a college football fan and lately I only watch cal games. it is what it is. Ill take my L

Low key though Seattle has proved that outside of like 3 guys, WRs are extremely interchangable. Maybe more so than RBs because of the rules placed on down field contact.

ive seen this point of view since we lost driver, jennings, jones and now most likely cobb. Then again we have Rodgers throwing the ball so that helps a ton
