That’s my thing too. If the current person steps aside and the shootings are the same under the new person, then what? Folks get mad at “crime bills” and police having all that military gear and shyt. Police get mad cause they can’t turn up like they want to. Folks will get mad if a new mayor came in on some crack some heads type shyt. Nobody knows what should happen really.. All I know is it’s sad that you can’t go out and have fun without worrying about the possibility of getting shot. I’ve been in a few running situations that turned out to be false alarms. This shyt is sad smh
In general, there is a lot of red tape in politics because people's paychecks depend on how things are implemented...
I'm sure the goal would be to make the city more business friendly, but you most likely are gonna use measures that will create tension elsewhere because someone's pockets will be lightened..
That's not voters problem though nor should it be. You campaigned on it and you should be held accountable if you don't keep to your word regardless of what came into play to prevent that from happening. It's amazing how people are always willing to give politicians the benefit of a doubt but don't hold the same standards for everyone else around them.
