you know why you're wrong? because this law isn't actually about peoples feelings and being offended by glass :dead: the fukking councilman in the article is quoted as to what the reason is. and its not what you just posted :camby:

I didn’t say feelings was the reason they were taking out the glass
I, and other posters just said GOOD.
You were definitely wrong about poor people choosing where they shop.

You the same dude who was doing both sides before Trump came into office.

Great law fukk them who come in and set up shot in the community and take cash but hide themselves.

If you don't feel safe don't set up shot and hopefully with these store owners leaving it may or hopefully encourage black stores to fill the void
But not fukk the people who will not hesitate to rob them at gun point?

Basically Tyrone & Shaniquas feelings take priority over Habibi & Mei Lings safety. American politics are nothing more than a racial head count.

You can't have a high rate of crime and murder in the same neighborhoods where these stores are located and not understand why these store owners would want/need the glass. I'd much rather them have bulletproof glass, than arming themselves and shooting as they see fit and getting off for it.

I feel you, but without them, there wouldn't be stores/food marts in these neighborhoods and they are necessities.
I live in Philly and this isn't true for a lot of hood areas. It might be an inconvenience esp if you old but the stuff the corner store selling there are stores usually close enough where this isn't a problem at all. Where some of my friends/fam live in North its a big as shop rite right down the street that open a few years ago. Before that it was two other stores in walking distance. One closed and the other one became a cheaper grocery store but a grocery store still. This applies to other neighborhoods also in Philly. I can't speak for all of them but a lot in North have stores close enough that unless you're old or something you can get to by walking or catching the bus. Its not as convenient as the corner store but outside of some sour of the moment stuff every now and then what are you copping from the corner store you can't/shouldn't cop from a regular store anyway?

This what I'm fukking talking about. This is exactly how we effectuate change in our communities. The BP glass is probably one of the most visible things that our kids see and learn "we're different than everyone else". :salute:That councilwoman! Much love.

I can't agree with that. I remember they opened a similar store here, near my grandmothers house and it didn't last long. People have been too conditioned. You'd have to change mentalities first. Whose going to pay $1 for one apple when you can get 4 bags of chips for the same price and you have 4 and 5 mouths to feed?
So your one example that didn't even last long enough to initiate a change is what u are going off of:mjlol:

So let's keep food deserts in urban areas cause the people wont pay for better choices :francis:

Perhaps if we also fixed the racist housing, pay, education and etc. Problems shyt will change

Anybody that thinks this is a good idea is a dumbass that is clueless on every front, if you never had to hit the corner store on the regular to the point you cool with the guys working there and you don't know any nikkas that have robbed/fukked up corner stores STFU.

All that's gonna happen is they'll try and stay in business, maybe shorten their hours, until somebody experiences a life and death situation then they call it quits, sells to another indian/Arab and they repeat the process, until that store just shuts down for good.

And no, a black person isn't gonna take their place, especially without bulletproof glass :comeon:

I know here in Houston a lot of the corner stores let police loiter inside them when it starts to get late before they close. Maybe they'll try that way.

this is 100% bulls.hit and you know it.

How? HOW?

I live in a neighborhood where they do that shyt. I dont like it. I go to other places. Those places take my money just like the places with the bulletproof glass.

It is not a necessity to have bulletproof glass in a corner store. Why is that so hard for you to believe?

If you feel threatened by the same community you "serve", why you there taking their hard earned money? :francis:

Plenty of mom and pops without bulletproof glass that turn a profit just fine.
Do you feel the same way about pharmacies? You should have no security because you are "comfortable"?

People shouldn't own guns if they are comfortable? People don't have the right to be careful?
