I do realize that but my point is that the police officers she is "managing" don't respect her because she was never out in the streets doing police work. It's not her fault that she was promoted to that position... she's just doing her job. But a lot of the police officers are pissed that the promotion did not come from within the Philly PD and also it came from a police officer who never made arrests. Sometimes, it's just like that. It's like the basketball coach that never played basketball, it's just hard to gain respect from the jump.

I'm not talking down on her. I'm merely explaining what the police officers are feeling about her from a very reliable source and why.

I didn't say I hope she fails. I didn't say she wasn't qualified. I said the POLICE OFFICERS felt she was unqualified.

And furthermore, there is no evidence that the police officers would feel ANY different if it were an Italian / Irish white man. If that hypothetical person never was on the street, my guess is they wouldn't respect him either.

My pops was a police officer, he's retired after 40 plus years. The inside intel is that NO ONE in the police department respects her. Pretty much because her history doesn't include "in the field" police work. She rose through the ADMIN ranks, she wasn't out there chasing criminals, ducking bullets, getting cussed at, spit at, yelled at... never arrested a hard criminal.

Not really because she's black and a woman... she not qualified according to 99% of the police department. They don't respect her.

what did they think of Ross? From the outside looking in I thought he was a genuinely good dude but so much fukkery happened under his watch that it seemed like he wasn’t the type to hold police accountable

As for Outlaw, I hope she does well but I don’t know if she’s ready for the level of violence in Philly right now. Last year’s homicide number was the highest in years and this year we’re on pace to double it smh. Little kids getting shot, shootings in broad daylight, it’s terrible right now

General consensus what that everyone pretty much respected Ross. The women cops loved him for obvious reasons... the black male cops liked him, thought he was a cop's cop. Some of the white guys hated him, for obvious reasons. Got caught up with women at work... a shame.
