You also have to factor in context. If you're black, the assumption is you aren't banging-- even if you are. So if a black dude from L.A who was visiting Oakland and SF and was a real blood, Asian crips can see him and not press because they would assume first he's a 49er fan or just wearing red.

I agree, SF is different in the sense of numbers. So a gang banger is more likely to press on some bully shyt, regardless if the victim is active or not. Oakland does have the marketing image going for it, and skate by based on that.

Its complex...

Sac is 916, and within that are Crips and Bloods, but you push Sacramento/916 first. There is a whole Northern Cali Crip car, that entire movement is basically headquartered in Sacramento. All the Northern Crips are their own car within the Crip infrastructure.....Crips have more numbers than Bloods pretty much anywhere, LA Crips are the largest black prison gang by themselves...

Bloods don't really distinguish between North and South, if you're a Blood you're a Blood. There is the Piru car but that is an entity under the B...

Then there's Kumi and BGF and all that, I would say by reputation BGF has the reputation as the most organized black unit in the pen. I know they've gone to war with LA Crips...

Someone who has been up can tell you better. I did my prison time in North Carolina so I can't tell you Cali pens from personal experience, but my dad did a total of 23 years, 3 different bids upstate (last got out in 2011 when I was 22, so he been clean for a minute). And I got uncles and homies who been, so this is word of mouth of what's generally understood...

Most beef is within your own race, this is true everywhere and also in Cali. You got Asian gangs in Sacramento who call themselves Bloods or Crips but the only gangs who have a real seat at the table at black Crip functions are Loop Side Crips (Tongans) and Plaza Crip Gang (Samoans), and they Islanders. And those gangs aren't 100% Islanders, you have plenty blacks in both sets but the history of those gangs were started by Islanders...there is an Asian set that used to identify with NHGC but I'm not sure how that works...

We don't identify Asian gangs with the B or C, regardless of what they call themselves. I guess my point is to illustrate that Asian cats who identify as Bloods or Crips aren't typically pressing blacks like that, they pressing other Asians that identify as Bloods or Crips. There has been instances if black hoods in Sac beefing with Asians but I don't know of an instance where it was strictly on some set tripping B/C shyt, other than the Polk St Asians who ally with NHGC, and the CBC Asian dudes out in Oak Park...

The reason for this, in Cali prisons, it's all race related. Asians gotta click with Asians in the pen and most Asians not B or C (even on the streets most aren't)...

It sounds strange but Asians who rep B or C just not regarded as family unless they got down with a black hood. They got they own B/C beef with each other....not with the black homies...

We bang the block in Sacramento too. Bloods and Crips are block gangs under a larger conglomerate. That's the only difference...

If the Garden Blocc wasn't a Crip hood and was just called "Garden Block" with no Crip affiliation, it wouldn't be looked at any different as any of those sets in SF/Oakland. If the Denver Lanes in LA had no Blood affiliation but still had that turf around Murder Alley known as "Denver Lanes", cats would look at them the same as SF/Oakland. It would be the same as Seminary, the View, Acorn, etc...

Cats are not really anti-Blood/Crip and they not anti gangs. Dudes in the field know it's all the same, Bay hoods just remained independent. That's the only difference, but its misleading to say they don't bang or have gangs when all the activities are the same...

By the way, Philip did win this lol. Mozzy took a couple L's on this beef...
