Ayo, that shyt that @-DMP- posted used to fukk me up. I just stared at it and felt nothing where before, I'd be pissed off and itching. That's weird. I wonder why I don't feel anything now? I used to have those images stuck in my head for days and itching all the time.

I was scared of spiders but I'm over it now. I just could never figure out why they had so many legs and eyes. Plus they have no fear.

Being electrocuted. I just have a fear that I'll be electrocuted to death so I always take precautions now to never be in that situation.

Going blind. When I was a kid, I would have reoccurring dreams where I couldn't see clearly. Like I was squinting the whole time. I also wear glasses, so my eyes have always been bad.

I have a terrible sense of direction so being lost is something that I make sure never happens.

Those saying snakes, have you ever seen one in real life?

If not, why are you scared of em? Makes no sense

Makes perfect sense. Throughout the years we've known to avoid snakes at all costs. It's no wonder were afriad of the things that truly threaten us the most. That would be venom and bacteria. Both in small amounts can do a lot of damage. I mean shyt, rats carried the plague.

That's why there are fears of roaches, rats, and other critters that carry disease and fear of things that have venom like snakes, spiders , etc

Check out some of these links

Some of the research even suggests that these creatures might be part of the reason why we see so well. Mammals across the board are pretty good as seeing moving objects in a still environment. But our eyesight has been conditioned to find patterns in environments that are completely still, which would make sense if you're trying to avoid stepping on a snake or walking through a spider web

I have a mild fear of penguins. Had a dream a giant one beat me up when I was kid and they've freaked me out ever since. :to:

Social (to a point)...it's more of disdain than fear, being around folks all in your business or stuck-inside-the box types with their small world mentality, especially these closeted mountain folks...:heh:

Other stuff (animals, heights, etc.) is subtle, but I get used to it after a moment...:leostare:

I have a fear of loose tape reels

I had a nightmare about a tape reel monster when I was a kid. Since then :merchant:

If a tape popped in my radio I would throw the radio away. :blessed: for CDRs
