Mint and INTL are kind of ass, and of course they're one two out of the three night clubs that charge cover in Old Town Scottsdale (you can imagine why)

Maya is fun cause it's connected to the District at night via the pool/ courtyard area. I heard the W is good. Frankly, I would hit Riot House in Old Town. Tempe is really college-y. If I were you I would hit up LA or Vegas. Much more fun, you can get suited and booted. Much fukkery to be experienced, take my word on it.

How you figure? Phoenix is an incorporated city and its boarders do not include Tempe/Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert/Scottsdale. how could one argue otherwise?

All of those are in the Phoenix Metro area. Phoenix is so big and spread out that it has its own little communities/towns, but its still PHX.

I came out of ATL about a year ago, so the "blackest" clubs here are kind of lackluster when compared to back east (Edgewood Ave was the jam back in GA, plus there was very little chance of cover charge unless it was NYE or something). Not mention that the venues here are over run with Mexicans. No that big of an issue for me, but it's always good to see some melanated peeps around.
