I hate screen protectors. I've always had them on my phones with the bubbles and all. Only one time I managed to get the screen protector on perfectly, with no bubbles or dust under it. It was a skinomi screen protector and I had that shyt on perfectly! It looked like I did not even have one on. That was on my HTC 8X that I got in 2013 but that thing bricked on me after a couple of days after buying it so I had to send it back to get another one. I could never get the screen protector on perfectly again. I think all the planets were aligned or some shyt that night I put it on perfectly.
Right now I have a Sony Xperia Z3 and it looks amazing without a screen protector. I can never go back to screen protectors again. I don't know how I lived with those bubbles for years. Plus the Z3 is waterproof so if the screen gets dirty, I just rinse it off in the sink.

Spigen has the best cases. Sleek stylish non-heavy cases and they protect. I highly recommend. And I have a tempered glass black privacy screen protector. It all makes my GS4 look sexy! And it's protected.

I had a glass screen protector on my Galaxy S5, best $40 I spent, upgraded to the Galaxy S6 Edge, curved glass screen protectors are impossible to find, so I run a Case Mate on it with bumper protection.
