'Not Here Anymore' might be my favorite 9th beat of the last 5 years.

Man...there are some sleeper bangers on some of the Jamla FreEPs that never got any love on SOHH or here.

I can send you some if you like...

Act Proof (Sundown & Enigma), Rapsody, Sean Boog, Big remo, GQ, Halo, TP, Skyzoo, Thee Tom Hardy...he had some heaters on multiple projects for all of them from Fall 2010-Now. Most of it fell under the radar.

I downloaded and listened to like 25-30 Jamla albums last year. It was overwhelming but there's heat for sure. Engineered poorly though.

I know. Some are decent. Some are pretty damn bad though. I hate it. Khrysis engineered most of them, and he's usually very very good at mixing. Not quite sure what happened. Like Phantom of the Jamla was mixed great. Rapsody's For Everything was downright tough on the ears. Very weird.

Understatement.

Every team needs a Young Guru, there's so much heat on some of those Jamla tapes that are screaming for some good mixing and mastering.
