That 70-200 2.8 ....2400 bucks. Man, I wish. I'd settle for the old 80-200 2.8 tho.
I don't know about the 85 1.4.
I just never noticed much difference between the 1.4 and the 1.8

I have a canon, I had the 70-200 2.8 i IS, I got it used for $1300... I used it and realized it wasn't my thing and re-sold it for $1350. It's a very high in demand lens. Having the IS though, adds weight to it. It's a pretty heavy lens. I would say get the 70-200 f/4 for half the price and weight.
I'd love to have an 85mm. 1.4/1.8...doesn't matter.
I just don't really mind it for now because I still have a D300S. If i went full frame, then yeah

I forgot to mention, but a GREAT site that I use to get photog info AND buy used lenses in mint condition is fredmiranda.com (the forums on that site).
I haven't been on FM in a while.
It is a great site for buyinhg equipment. And it runs better than that crappy ass KEH.
