How many of yall always shoot in the auto setting and never use the manual settings

I shoot on film. This is my situation, went out on a cloudy day with the lens the camera came with, pics were average at best. This is only my second time using the camera since when I bought it in the spring. Used to LOVE taking photos with my old point and shoot Sony DSC-H10 when I was an teenager. Trying to get back into the hobby.Manual is always better.
Then again if you’re going to use the crappy kit lens your camera came with, you’re always going to be limited.

Damn this post really makes me feel like an causalI shoot on film.

Right70-90% of the photos you will take will probably require aperture priority or shutter speed priority.
But honestly auto mode with the right/correct lens will take a great photo 90% of the time.
You would need to be shooting specialized scenes and situation if you need manual mode most of the time.
I have I just forgot about those types of cameras
Have you never heard of mirrorless![]()
