How many of yall always shoot in the auto setting and never use the manual settings

Can't shoot auto if ur trying to get clout for your pictures online. Gotta shoot manual, gotta shoot RAW
Manual is always better.
Then Aperture priority.
Then auto.
Unless you’re shooting sports like racing then you can just set your shutter speed and go from there.
Then again if you’re going to use the crappy kit lens your camera came with, you’re always going to be limited. To be fair, not everyone can drop 2,000 on a 70-200 2.8 or an 85 1.4 if they’re doing portraits.

This is my situation, went out on a cloudy day with the lens the camera came with, pics were average at best. This is only my second time using the camera since when I bought it in the spring. Used to LOVE taking photos with my old point and shoot Sony DSC-H10 when I was an teenager. Trying to get back into the hobby.
One thing I love about this DSLR is how fast the shutter speed is, even on auto with the point and shoots I had there was an noticeable delay between photos. You can snap like five photos in five seconds with an DSLR

70-90% of the photos you will take will probably require aperture priority or shutter speed priority.
But honestly auto mode with the right/correct lens will take a great photo 90% of the time.
You would need to be shooting specialized scenes and situation if you need manual mode most of the time.
