Naw I fail to see what's cringeworthy or :facepalm about it
If he wasn't taking care of his kids, was a bad father etc. I'd see your point.
But if he wants to have mad kids and has the resources (which he does) and ability to take care of them, and is actively doing so then he has the right to be proud
You don't have to agree with his lifestyle but there's nothing inherently or negative about it imo
