shyt Randomly Came To Mind

If I Told My Mom Something Like “Let’s Stay Home From School And Work And Go To The Movies”

She’d Hit Me With “Let’s Not And Say We Did” :usure:

That Was Her Go To For Awhile

Whenever I Bought Anything My Pops Would Ask How Much I Paid For It, No Matter What I Said He’d Go “Man They Saw You Coming” :francis:

My uncle still heavily uses 70's slang. I think he must've been the cool kid growing up but never let it go. he calls dudes cat, says stuff like right on, and dig it. outtq sight etc.

My dad super nerdy, likes the phrase " sounds like a winner." anytime you make plans or end a convo. Be like " hey dad, i'll meet you over at Uncle's house." him "Sounds like a winner. *click*."

One my friends, constantly says "that's what's up." whenever he listens to people talk.

be like uh huh uh huh, or really? damn. That's what's up.."

Any time there was any disagreement of any kind:
Dad: "You're a white man in a black skin. Oyibo!" <---He says this of everyone not white. He just outright curses white people.
Me: ":beli:" <----I actually do make this face a lot.
Rest of my family: ":skip::mjlol::bryan:"

Anytime I would ask for something crazy or do something foolish my pops would tell me "niigga if you don't go somewhere and lay down"

I remember one time in particular I had done something in school and got in trouble, and he hit me with "Man I'd beat the fool out of you but I don't have enough time"... Had me sitting there for a minute trying to process what he said like "hol up, did he just diss me?" :russ:

If I was acting up: "A hard head makes a soft azz" (right before the belt came out).

Warning me when some cousin/friend made a mistake: "Don't go out on fool hill."

When discussing people that did criminal shyt: "I love you....but I ain't got Johnny Cochran money to get you out."

Talking about friends: "don't be riding in the car with a bunch of brehs. If there's 5 of y'all in one car, guaranteed at least 1 is gonna wanna do some dumb shyt. Start wildin out. Cops pull y'all over and somebody got some of that bullshyt on em." Mom was right because I knew A LOT of people getting high back then.

More stuff about friends: "don't be hanging around with a bunch of men, especially if likka and drugs is involved. People do weird shyt. Keep your circle tight"

Kept me out the streets. :yeshrug::ehh:
