Why? Because he likes mixing movies and video games together so much?
He brings a LOT of people together who would've normally never met, beyond just actors, he gets fashion designers, architects, rappers etc. who've never worked on a game before and shows them love. He's the only one making good games consistently doing this without making it all about the actors involved for a cash grabs.
And he's a celebrity on his own right
they're fans of him too
