I became my fattest ever earlier this year weighing in at 250lbs on a 6 foot frame. I was going thru shyt and did not have the energy or will power to step foot into a gym nearly half a year. I was comfort eating 24/7 at this time as well, whatever tiny thing went wrong, old would treat myself to garbage easy access processed food to feel better cuz I told myself I deserved it.
I wasn't receiving any type of compliments except my gf sayings she loves me regardless even with the added weight.
On my 29th birthday this year I finally decided to get off my lazy ass and start hitting the gym and eating healthier because I'm way too young to be looking fat and flabby.
It's been a little over 2 months since that day and I have made major strides on my fitness but still have a long way to go. I haven't weighed myself for months but I did drop down a pants size.
The respect you receive for being in shape is universally, men, women, and extending down to even children will respect you for it.
Yesterday was bring your father to school day. When I walked into my older sons classroom and sat down, all these little kids in his class looked at me like
turning around to look at my son saying "jadyn is that your dad!?"
They were constantly whispering amongst themselves "he got big arms!" "he got muscles!" Then later approaching me to introduce themselves.
When I went to say goodbye to my younger son one kid got up out his seat running towards me stopping me before I went "hey hey! You look really strong"
People are definitely treating me different then before. One is my gf, she always called me sexy and good looking but now she says it with great enthusiasm all the time. Constantly has her hands on me talking about how sexy I am.
