Always felt it kind of gets lost in the discussion about Wu solos.
I never hear it get talked about...it's not just underrated in terms of the Wu, it's one of the most underrated albums of the golden era. RZA's grittiest productions post-36 Chambers, guest spots were incredible. Ghost coming into his OB4CL-era form on Brooklyn Zoo II. Raw Hide low key the most underrated Wu Banga I can think of. It's a classic album to me

Same. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Liquid, OB4CL and Ironman, but Return just feels like closer to the early gritty Wu sound (they chose the name approprietaly) while those 3 somewhat feel more polished/structured etc. Which is also what makes them undisputed classics in their own right. It's just different flavors of the same greatness. We were spoiled.
