Even without the bet, I truly believe Memphis has 50-50 chance to win, which is pretty damn good. They had a 6"4 Allen guarding KD last year and went 7 games, now they got 6"9 Green to help out and solid perimeter players like Lee, Udrih and Carter. I'm telling you now Udrih is the truth and extremely underrated, this guy is MONEY midrange, come playoffs watch him drop 15+ off the bench.

Beno probably the best backup point in the league :wow:

Mid-range god :wow:

He is tailor-made for the slow inside out pace Memphis has. Memphis literally has it all this year. Only team out West that can beat them is OKC but even then I feel the addition of Green puts them over the top:gkmc:

Grizzlies-Cavs finals would be so piff :thuggin:

I try not to bet on sports BUT the Memphis Grizzlies are my dark-horse pick to come out of the West.

Gasol and Randolph are a force to be reckoned with on the inside. Conley is becoming a better point guard with every game. He was unfortunate to not be an all-star (as was Randolph). Tony Allen and Jeff Green are great wing players and will be key for their perimeter defense. Udrih is as good a backup PG as you can have in this league when it comes to scoring/shooting. Vince Carter will stretch out any defense with his shooting. Calathes is a solid big man to have off the bench and Jon Leuer is a serviceable player. This team is stacked and built for the playoffs.

Throughout the majority of the season, they've been a lock for 2nd place and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were to pull within 1 or 0.5 games within the Warriors by the season's end.

As far as their playoff opposition, this team has no problem with whomever they face. Spurs, OKC Thunder, Clippers....this team has beaten each of these squads repeatedly. Memphis has and relishes the reputation of being the Western team who nobody wants to see in the playoffs.

More power to you if you make that bet.
