I remember around 2010 when I first started hearing the second wave beat makers like Knx starting to come out, most of whom were rocking ableton, I couldn't feel the ambient pad sampling sound, they felt to airy for me. Turns out I just had to find some doper shyt.

My favorite producer the past 12 yrs is 9th Wonder.

Yeah. For 9th Wonder I would say this and Girl by Destny's Child. Threat put him on the map, but Jay-Z picked the sample for that, and even 9th Wonder I'm pretty sure liked the remix that he did for Threat more than the original.
