i respect Roc, Ka & Woods equally. Danny Brown lost major cool points with his latest album. Gun to my head i go with Roc Marc.

For me it boiled down to Gangsta Gibbs and Bronson, with Action just slightly edging Freddie. Gibbs' flow and bars are ridiculous especially considering his subject matter. But I didn't feel ESGN, and that toy soldiering he did for Jeezy only to later have a falling out with him made me lose respect for him. I still think he might have a bright future. That undercover cop thread about him was classic.

I love Action's beat selection, and his bars are above average. Not to mention he's funny as hell. Remember back in the day there used to be characters? Humpty Hump, Flav, ODB, Professor Griff, Rappin Duke, Slick Rick, Bizmarkie, Eazy, dude in the Ton Loc video with the portable turntable,etc.? Some of those dudes I mentioned were taken seriously as emcees, but all of em were characters that made you laugh or left your mouth hanging from the visuals. We don't have that as much anymore and that's why I fukk with Bronson and Sean Price cuz they dont take themselves too serious. Plus Rare Chandeliers is one of my favorite tapes.
