We do need to use the word less on and off this site. It hypocritical every time we want to check a non-Black for using it, yet we sling the word so casually amongst ourselves. I am guilty of using it myself of on here, but I say very sparingly off line and I will work on phasing it out here. The excuse of that's what they call us holds less water in 2014, I'm not saying we need to call each gods and earths or what not but I do think that as a people we need to take a more affirmative stance in how we deal with each other if possible. I find Piers Morgan to be an intellectual miasma but it doesn't make his point any less legitimate. We have had Black leaders to tell us to eradicate the use of the word for 3 decades and it seems we have responded with a collective lack of fukks given.
