I am as liberal when it comes to this LGBT stuff as any other lefty but I just don't have the energy to get outraged over this transgender/transexual nonsense.
You want to dress like the opposite sex, have reassignment surgery and change your gender on our driver's license I say knock yourself out but I am not going to spend time tying to figure out what does or does not offend you. shyt, I just learned that saying "tranny" is a derogatory term when referencing a transgender person. Who can keep up with this shyt?

A shame really. Sexual orientation being different from gender identity should be basic stuff.
Gender identity (who you are) : Man, woman. Being transsexual is, depending on the different theories in the LGBT movement, either a third one or just a transitional state to either man or woman. As we can see in the vid, some transsexuals don't like being referred as so and being reminded how they were born.
Sexual orientation (who you're attracted to) : Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pan-sexual, asexual and a few more (and pedophile, zoophile and so on for the illegal ones)

It's then logical than a transsexual can be homosexual or heterosexual. Examples :
- an heterosexual male (female to male trans) is simply a male (born a girl) who is attracted to women
- an homosexual female (male to female trans) is simply a female (born a boy) who is attracted to women
It's simple really.

It's not about what they were born as, but what they are.

If I a grown man or woman wants to dress like the opposite sex or feels like they identify with the other sex, I personally don't give a shyt. Doesn't affect my life one way in any major way. The only trouble it has brought me is having to learn to dodge that shyt on porn websites when I go masturbate.

I support their decision solely based on the concept of consent, having the maturity to decide their place, and legal grounds. That being said, the LGBT community pisses me off to no end sometimes. Some of the most vile, hypocritical and and xenophobic people you will come across.

Typical LGBT: "Hey Everyone, I'm normal. I'm just like everyone else. Now let me insert my sexual preference in every conversation I start and go put on a glitter feather boa at this gay pride parade"

That being said, the LGBT community pisses me off to no end sometimes.

IMO it's a result of them suddenly getting more shine. They suddenly have the spotlight, and a lot of sympathy, after decades of being treated like shyt and dismissed, so they're in a chaotic time where they're getting used to newfound representation, while still not being all the way towards equal treatment. I think a lot of them are still bitter and resentful (understandably) and are acting out as a result, the same way members of other groups sometimes do. I think things will probably settle down in a few years.
